The Reviewer Workspace is a centralized dashboard where reviewers can manage tasks, track deadlines, and coordinate with editors—all in one place with AI-assisted prioritization.

Not at all. ReviewerOne can smoothly integrate with all journal submission systems. We are currently in the process of building these integrations. What does this mean for you? Even if you are reviewing for multiple journals that use different submission systems and workflows, you can complete all your peer reviews on ReviewerOne. This simplifies the process and eliminates the need for you to be on multiple systems (different emails, calendars, and journal submission systems).

The AI review assistant supports reviewers by checking for plagiarism, validating data/images, detecting bias, and assessing clarity. This will help you maintain review quality and speed. But remember that while AI can help increase your efficiency as a peer reviewer, nothing can replace the value you add. Your individual expertise and perspectives are invaluable to the peer review process.

Great question! The seamless calendar and messaging feature enables secure communication and auto-scheduling of reviews, keeping everyone in sync. Just sync your Outlook or Google calendar with the platform, and you are all set. We are currently in the process of integrating ReviewerOne with journal submission systems. Once this is set up, you can communicate with the journal editor on the platform while submitting your review.

The peer review workflow on ReviewerOne includes automated manuscript checks for alignment with journal scope, research integrity (references, plagiarism, data checks, and image manipulation), and language. You can refer to these while performing your peer review. Remember that while these are aides, a robust peer review recommendation depends on your own evaluation of the research.

ReviewerOne includes a dedicated recognition hub to enable you to get the credit you deserve. You can sync your reviews with your ORCID profile for instant acknowledgement and greater visibility. We are also in conversation with industry leaders to integrate reviewer recognition modules into the platform and introduce additional benefits.

For example, our collaboration with Reviewer Credits will enable you to get recognition, certifications, rewards, and access to useful resources and services related to peer review and scholarly publishing.

The Reviewer Academy is a dedicated learning hub exclusively for peer reviewers. We are currently in the process of adding new courses and learning resources. This will include ethics modules, onboarding guides, and ongoing reviewer training aligned with global peer review standards. We will keep adding new tips and resources to the Reviewer Academy, so stay tuned!
